GREEN INITIATIVES

P.G.D.A.V. College believes not only in imparting quality education but also providing sustainable solutions to the emerging problems. College library is affirmed to support green practices to turn library into a sustainable place for its generations. For this Library believes in three principles of Sustainability:

Initiatives of College Library

• MoU with Recycling Agency.
• Discarding library paper waste to recycling agency and exchange for recycled products like computer A4 papers, stationary etc
• Using Sustainable Equipments & Materials for Library.
• Eco friendly Computers, Printers, AC’s , LED Lights and Stationary Products.
• More greenery in the library and natural Lighting system, proper cross ventilation, servicing of equipments on time etc.
• Environment Literacy programs, Workshops and Seminars in Hybrid mode, sensitization on preserving our natural resources
• Adding Digital Collection along with Print to maintain sustainable collection.
• Imparting services in online and off line mode.
• Printing and Writing on both sides of paper
• Recycling Stations installed in the library.
